Miranda Jones is an Associate at Keller Postman LLC. As a former public attorney who handled some of Tennessee’s most consequential litigation, Miranda brings rigorous strategy and precision to every client matter.

Before joining Keller Postman, Miranda was a Senior Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Tennessee Attorney General and Reporter, where her practice spanned trial and appellate litigation in state and federal court. She specialized in defending against complex constitutional challenges, including cases involving novel statutory questions and issues of first impression. She developed proficiency in adapting case strategy to shifting Supreme Court precedent. In one standout case, she spearheaded settlement negotiations in a putative multi-class action challenging the administration of food stamps across the entire State of Tennessee. She has also argued before the Tennessee Court of Appeals and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her government service sharpened her ability to quickly master complex factual records and evolving legal issues.

Miranda clerked for Judge Tu Pham of the Western District of Tennessee and the late Justice Cornelia Clark of the Tennessee Supreme Court. She graduated from Harvard Law School, where she reached the semi-finals of its Ames Moot Court competition and earned the “best brief” designation. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, where she was a member of the Chancellor’s Honors Program and graduated summa cum laude. She also earned an associate degree from San Antonio College, where she was a Presidential Honors Scholar, was the graduate speaker, and graduated summa cum laude.

Miranda is licensed to practice law in Tennessee only.
