Mila Buschmann

Mila is also Counsel at Gerchen Capital Partners, where she advises on legal matters relating to its business activities and operations. Mila previously served as Principal and Legal Counsel at Adams Street Partners, LLC, a registered investment adviser and manager of $58 billion of assets across various investment strategies. At Adams Street, Mila worked on general corporate matters, including corporate structuring, investments, pooled investment funds and client contracts.

Prior to Adams Street, Mila was an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where she represented private fund sponsors in connection with structuring, negotiating, forming and operating private investment funds and their management companies.

Mila was also an Associate at Jenner & Block LLP, where she advised businesses on complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, securities offerings and general corporate governance.

Mila earned her law degree from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago where she graduated summa cum laude.

Mila is licensed to practice law in Illinois.
