Amazon Recorded Kids Without Consent, Privacy Suits Say

The minors’ attorneys at Keller Postman LLC said Tuesday that Amazon is plainly violating the law by recording children without consent.

“Amazon is using illegally obtained recordings of children to feed its data machine and boost profits, regardless of the consequences for privacy,” the firm said in an email. “Our complaints seek injunctive relief and damages to stop Amazon from harnessing voiceprints of kids for its own gain.”
