Amanda’s practice centers on products liability litigation, including federal multidistrict litigation. She has a special interest in the intersection of science, law, and public health. At Keller Postman, she worked on behalf of servicemembers in the 3M Combat Arms Earplugs litigation, participating in multiple bellwether trials and working with leading experts to secure compensation for injured plaintiffs. Amanda also serves on the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee for the ASD-ADHD Products Liability Litigation, MDL 3043, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. In that role, she is co-chair of the Science Committee, overseeing the management of experts and scientific issues within the MDL. Amanda also works on Depo Provera litigation, advocating on behalf of women who have developed brain tumors as a result of exposure, as well as Hair Relaxer litigation, advocating on behalf of women and girls who have been injured by dangerous chemicals found in those products.
Before joining Keller Postman, Amanda was an associate at Clark, Love & Hutson and Huber Thomas & Marcelle, where she interfaced with experts, managed multidistrict litigation dockets, and litigated personal-injury claims.
Amanda served as a law clerk to Judges Fredericka H. Wicker and Stephen Windhorst of the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. As a clerk, Amanda worked on complex civil and criminal appeals and supported Judge Wicker in her work leading Louisiana’s Judicial College. Following her clerkship, Amanda served as a public defender in Louisiana’s rural Fifth Judicial District, where she tried multiple criminal cases to verdict. Ms. Hunt also served as the District’s Louisiana State Bar Association Delegate for the Fifth Judicial District.
Amanda graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University School of Law and received her undergraduate degree from American University.
