Patrick Etchingham is an Attorney at Keller Postman LLC. As an experienced lawyer with a broad range of experience, Patrick prioritizes clients’ interests and needs to be the advocate they deserve.

At Keller Postman, Patrick works on the Necrotizing Enterocolitis / Infant Formula Litigation. He is an integral part of the court filings and pleadings process where he utilizes his interpersonal skills to ensure clients have provided information necessary for court filings. Patrick also participates in legal research, motions practice and drafting, and client communications. Patrick’s motion writing has resulted in wins for his clients on critical discovery issues.

Before joining Keller Postman, Patrick was an Associate attorney at a longstanding commercial litigation firm, Rock Fusco & Connelly, where he represented a variety of small-to-mid size businesses in litigation matters. Patrick was also an associate attorney at a Connolly Krause, where he harnessed his skill in civil litigation from the defense perspective, which he leverages for Keller Postman’s plaintiffs today. After law school, Patrick clerked for the Hon. Thomas R. Allen (Ret.) of the Chancery Division in Cook County, Illinois.

After law school, Patrick served as a judicial law clerk to Hon. Thomas Allen (Ret.) in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois.

Patrick graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law where he was the president of the local chapter of the Federal Bar Association and member of the Moot Court Honor Society. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois where he majored in English and minored in Spanish.

Before becoming a lawyer, Patrick was a high school English as a second language teacher along the U.S.-Mexico border through Teach For America. During that time, he also volunteered as a guardian ad litem for the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights where he advocated for unaccompanied minors without documentation.
